PULLMAN, Wash. – The fall calendar is filling quickly and there are several events in the coming weeks you’ll want to put on your schedule. Also, there are some notable changes on the technology front that will streamline communication, enhance teaching and learning, and improve efficiency.

As I step fully into the role of interim president, it is imperative to avoid a gap in leadership in the Provost’s Office.

PULLMAN, Wash. – Just in time for the summer’s first Alive! student orientation sessions this weekend, Washington State University students have a new go-to source for tools and tips designed to foster success.
PULLMAN, Wash. – Last year WSU partnered with the Student Success Collaborative, an online tool for academic advisors that can give them critical information in an easily digestible form. The SSC uses data about the performance of students since 2003 to identify trends and predict future student success in a given major.
PULLMAN, Wash. – Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to submit nominations for 2015-16 faculty awards presented at the annual spring Showcase celebration of university excellence. The deadline is Wednesday, Sept. 30.
PULLMAN, Wash. – Earlier this month I had the honor of celebrating the accomplishments of the Provost’s Leadership Academy. The intent of the academy is to infuse the faculty ranks, 25 to 30 people at a time, with knowledge of leadership and how the university works.
