Nov. 19: Scenes from French operas sung at WSU

PULLMAN, Wash. – Scenes of love from operas composed in French – but presented here in English – will be performed free to the public in “Viva La France!” by the Washington State University Opera Workshop at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, in Bryan Hall.

PULLMAN, Wash. – Three music faculty from Washington State University will give pre-opera talks for “The Met: Live in HD” series, which begins with Verdi’s “Macbeth” at 9:10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre in downtown Moscow, Idaho.

28th Annual Vocal Extravaganza concert slated for Oct. 11, Dad’s Weekend

PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State University School of Music will present the 28th Annual Vocal Extravaganza at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, in Bryan Hall Theatre. A part of the celebration of Dad’s Weekend events, the performance will showcase all of the vocal ensembles in the School of Music.
