The Executive Budget Council is building a comprehensive budgeting model, aiming for a framework that shows more clearly how funds are allocated and costs are assessed.

With the winter holidays just around the corner, the WSU community is asked to be extra vigilant to help mitigate the spread of COVID‑19.

Students traveling for Thanksgiving break are urged to get tested in advance and to remain home until the start of spring semester.

To date, the Office of the Provost has distributed thousands of dollars in grants to support faculty purchasing new technology to make laboratory exercises more engaging for students.

She is stepping into the new role two weeks earlier than planned to ensure as much acclimation time as possible prior to the start of the Fall 2020 semester.

As provost and executive vice president, Chilton will serve as WSU’s highest ranking academic officer, responsible for guiding all aspects of the university’s system-wide academic mission.

This coordinated response will focus on matching the university’s expertise with society’s needs, recruiting teams of faculty, staff and students to assist in this effort.

Although academic operations currently are continuing uninterrupted, the Provost’s Office is urging faculty and instructors to begin reviewing options in the event of future disruptions related to the spread of COVID-19.
