PULLMAN, Wash. – For the first time, the complete collection of pop artist Andy Warhol’s Polaroid photographs and silver gelatin prints at the Washington State University Museum of Art has been lent for exhibition in another museum.

PULLMAN, Wash. – Eight contemporary art prints valued at about $33,000 have been given to the Museum of Art at Washington State University by Seattle art collectors and gallery owners Greg Kucera and Larry Yocom.

PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State University Museum of Art gallery will be transformed into a high-end dance hall for the free “Exposure” student dance party 8 p.m.-midnight Saturday, April 4.
PULLMAN, Wash. – Two exhibits – of famous images and of recently discovered “street photography” – will be presented in the free, public show, “Through the Lens: An American Century – Corbis & Vivian Maier,” which will run Jan. 12-April 3 at the Washington State University Museum of Art.
PULLMAN, Wash. – A free, public screening of the Emmy-winning documentary, “Witness: The Legacy of Heart Mountain,” a panel discussion and reception will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Washington State University. It is in conjunction with the WSU art exhibition, “Roger Shimomura: An American Knockoff.”

PULLMAN, Wash. – A retrospective of ceramic works by retired faculty member Ann Christenson will be on exhibit Aug. 18-Sept. 13 at the Museum of Art at Washington State University. An opening reception will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, in the museum gallery with a talk by the artist at 7 p.m. Admission to the museum is free.
PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University’s Museum of Art announced today that it received an unprecedented gift of more than 200 fine art prints from internationally acclaimed artist Jim Dine. The gift—valued at nearly $2 million—creates the largest permanent collection of Dine prints at a university in the world.

PULLMAN, Wash. – A widely acclaimed writer of diverse literature and winner of the Washington State Book Award, Rebecca Brown will read from her work and answer questions at 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at the Museum of Art at Washington State University Pullman.
PULLMAN, Wash. – Six original Andy Warhol prints recently were given to the Washington State University Museum of Art from the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. They are the largest Warhol prints in the museum’s permanent collection (up to 40 x 40 inches) and depict both mundane and recognizable pop culture references.
