Amount, impact, quality of business professor’s academic publishing recognized

Lai-G-2011-80PULLMAN, Wash. – The quality, frequency and impact of Washington State University professor Gene Lai’s publishing was recognized in a recent article about appearances in academic journals. The study identified major contributing authors to three elite and seven high-impact academic risk management and insurance (RMI) journals over the past 30 and 10 years.

WSU Today was overwhelmed by the response to its request for WSU faculty and staff who are editors, co-editors, associate or assistant editors of top-tier journals. Obviously, many at our university are involved in scholarly pursuits that reach far beyond the WSU campuses.WSU Today received 12 pages of information with more than 125 names.
