Resilient, inspirational philanthropist receives alumni award

Gleason-SPOKANE, Wash. – Steve Gleason of New Orleans, philanthropist and former professional football player, was honored at Gleason Fest in Spokane on Saturday, Aug. 8, with the Washington State University Alumni Association (WSUAA) Alumni Achievement Award in recognition of the work he and Team Gleason do to raise awareness and find a cure for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).

PULLMAN, Wash. – The Pac-12 conference has released its 2014 schedule and Washington State University will host five conference football games in Martin Stadium along with a season-opening contest against Rutgers for the Seattle game.
