The naming of the football field inside Martin Stadium and halting the use of SAT and ACT test scores in the admissions process were among the actions taken by the WSU Board of Regents during its meeting on Friday, March 12.

Among the goals are developing plans to enhance WSU’s presence in the greater Seattle area and developing fiscal plans to address expected state budget reductions due to COVID‑19.

In compliance with social distancing guidelines, members of the Washington State University Board of Regents will conduct their May 7 and 8 meetings via Zoom.
The Regents also authorized a ten‑year lease for space on the Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences campus in Yakima for the College of Nursing’s educational program.
