Shooting near WSU Pullman campus

PULLMAN, Wash. — The Pullman Police Department notified the Washington State University Police Department that a shooting occurred adjacent to the Pullman campus in the early morning hours of Sunday, Oct. 29.

The incident occurred off of the university campus on Duncan Lane. Initial reports indicate that two individuals received nonlife-threatening injuries in the shooting.

The suspect is still at large. WSU Police are providing assistance to Pullman Police and the investigation is ongoing.

WSU notified the Pullman campus community of the incident through a series of automated telephone and email alerts. Additional details are posted on the WSU Alert website ( The WSU Alert website will continue to be updated as information becomes available.
