Dec. 12: About 875 will graduate at fall commencement

mortarboardPULLMAN, Wash. – About 875 students are expected to participate in the free, public fall commencement ceremony at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at Beasley Coliseum at Washington State University. Tickets are not required for the two-hour event.

About 4,200 guests are expected to attend. The speaker will be Max Baer, a WSU senior and former Butch T. Cougar. Read more about him at https://commencement.wsu.edu/fall/speaker/. WSU Interim President Dan Bernardo will confer degrees.

Fall graduates from the regional campuses may participate in the Pullman ceremony or may wait until spring ceremonies at their respective campuses.

The ceremony can be viewed live online at http://www.experience.wsu.edu. The videostream will be archived for later viewing at the same website.

Guests are encouraged to park at the Lewis Alumni Centre. Decorated for the holidays, the center offers photo opportunities for graduates and families.
