Nov. 12, 13: Free, public orchestra concerts at WSU

WSU-orchestra-webPULLMAN, Wash. – “Songs of a Wayfarer” by Gustav Mahler and other works will be performed by the Washington State University Symphony Orchestra in a free concert at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, in Bryan Hall at WSU.

The orchestra also will present a free concert at noon Friday, Nov. 13, in Bryan Hall as part of the day-long WSU Orchestra Festival for area high school and middle school musicians.

Thursday’s concert will feature WSU faculty Brian Carter, tenor, and guest conductor Richard Bauer, music director of the McCall (Idaho) Chamber Orchestra.
