Apple-sign-webPULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University’s Student Book Corporation, known as the Bookie, will feature a new CORETECH store – part of the Apple Authorized Campus Store program. The goal is to open in time for WSU’s Week of Welcome beginning Saturday, Aug. 15.

The store will sell Apple products such as iPads, Mac desktops and laptops, iMacs, iPods and computer accessories. It will not sell iPhones and Apple watches.

Sean Greene, CUB director, said students, faculty and staff will be able to interact with the newest technologies and enjoy Apple’s special education pricing when purchasing products.

The Bookie board of directors sought to establish a CORETECH to serve students. It will be in the Bookie’s lower level on the CUB ground floor, accessible from both the Bookie and the CUB corridor.

In addition to a full-time Apple-certified technician, CORETECH will be staffed by a full-time manager and about a dozen student employees.
