March 31: Early deadline for Canine Canter 5K fun run

canine-canterPULLMAN, Wash. – Dogs and their owners will team up for a three-mile fun run or walk at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 11, at Washington State University. Humans without dogs are also welcome.

WSU’s Canine Club of the College of Veterinary Medicine will host the 23nd annual Canine Canter 5K. The majority of race proceeds will go to the Whitman County Humane Society.

Pre-registration of $15 must be submitted by March 31. Late registration will cost $20 on race day and a T-shirt will not be not guaranteed. To register online and for more information, visit http://go.vetmed.wsu.edu/CanineCanter.

Snacks will be provided and prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place canine-human teams.

Check-in will begin at 7 a.m. at Bustad Hall at the corner of Stadium Way and Grimes Road.
