Jan. 19: WSU Students gear up for MLK Day of Service

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University students are planning to make Martin Luther King Jr. Day a day on, rather than a day off, by participating in a variety of service projects in the local community.

On Jan. 19, WSU students can participate in a variety of local one-time service projects, including a special bus trip to Spokane for the annual MLK Day Unity March and a service project with the East Central Community Center. Other one time service projects available for students include an archiving project at White Spring Ranch, animal socialization with the Humane Society of the Palouse, and crafts at Avalon Care Center.
