PULLMAN, Wash. – Two masterworks from the 19th century will be performed at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, in Bryan Hall in a free, public concert by the Washington State University Symphony Orchestra.
Movements from the Brahms “Symphony No. 2” will be followed by the “Characteristic Dances” and “Waltz of the Flowers” from Tchaikovsky’s ballet, “The Nutcracker.”
Stephen Radcliffe, conductor of the Seattle Youth Symphony and guest clinician for the WSU Orchestra Festival Nov. 7, will guest conduct the Tchaikovsky pieces.
