April 12: Teddy bear surgery clinic part of open house

Stuffed-animal-surgery-80PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital will hold its teddy bear surgery clinic 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, April 12. Children can bring their favorite stuffed animals, dress up in surgical clothing and assist veterinary students.

Stuffed-animal-surgery-350The event is part of the teaching hospital’s annual open house. Other activities will include tours of the hospital, a dog wash, animals with organs painted on the outside, face painting, kids’ crafts and games. Butch T. Cougar will make an appearance.
