SEATTLE – Washington State University will relocate its downtown Seattle retail store, Washington State Connections, from Westlake Center to 411 Union St., Rainier Square, by April.
The university plans to open a second WSU Connections store in downtown Everett this spring.
WSU’s land-grant university presence has been well received in Seattle, attracting alumni, tourists, fans and prospective students.
After 10 good years at Westlake Center, the new location will be larger. It will accommodate more merchandise and more square footage to display WSU’s accomplishments in research, teaching and outreach.
Along with WSU products, the setting features Washington wine, Cougar cheese, unique gifts and apparel.
