The Women of Distinction Award recognizes campus or community members who have made notable contributions to the campus through service, teaching or involvement.

For an art, science and technology course at WSU Tri‑Cities, the transition to virtual learning was natural and actually played to the course’s strengths.

The program will save residents from Umatilla County thousands in tuition costs. Currently, in‑state residents pay $13,647 per year in tuition, compared to the $21,118 tuition cost for non‑residents.

The program has helped more than 35,000 students in their quest to attend college since it was founded in 2002.
