Federal grant supports nurse practitioner training, rural primary care

By Addy Hatch, College of Nursing SPOKANE, Wash. – A new federal grant received by the WSU College of Nursing will help train nurse practitioners and address a critical shortage of primary-care providers in Eastern Washington rural areas.

Popular WSU license plates set $613K scholarship record

  PULLMAN, Wash. – Scholarship funds from the Washington State University license plate, the number-one specialty plate in the state, hit a new record of $613,283 in the 2016-2017 academic year, according to the WSU budget office. All of the proceeds go to scholarships for students in the WSU system.

WSU Tri-Cities partners with Thai, Canadian universities in exchange program

By Maegan Murray, WSU Tri-Cities RICHLAND, Wash. – Washington State University Tri-Cities signed a memorandum of understanding Wednesday, June 28, to partner with Vanwest College from Vancouver, British Columbia, and Mahasarakham University from Talat, Thailand, for a language and cultural exchange program that will benefit students from each of the three campuses and countries.
