Jenette Ramos, a Boeing Co. executive who started out as a summer employee while an undergraduate at Washington State University, is joining the university’s Board of Regents.
Educator and curator Namita Gupta Wiggers will discuss an important pivot in arts education in the 1930s and 40s exemplified by the ceramics of artist and WSU alumnus Betty Feves from 5–6 p.m on Wednesday, Oct. 28.
During the online meeting, the board is expected to take action on President Kirk Schulz’s proposed goals and objectives for the current academic year as well as a revised fiscal year 2021 athletics budget.
Arliegh Cayanan, a fourth-year College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences student, will serve as the next student regent on the WSU Board of Regents.
The statewide effort is part of a new $150,000 program funded by The Harold & Arlene Schnitzer CARE Foundation and facilitated through Jordan Schnitzer Museums of Art to promote greater understanding and healing.
