PULLMAN, Wash. – Five peer consultants in the Writing Center at Washington State University have been honored by their major departments in the College of Arts and Sciences with “outstanding senior” awards, and a sixth has received the Ruth Slonim Poetry Prize.
PULLMAN, Wash.— More than 235 students, presenting just over 200 posters, landed a total of 51 awards at Washington State University’s largest-ever Showcase for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (SURCA) this week, according to Shelley Pressley, director of the Office of Undergraduate Research, which hosted the event.

RICHLAND, Wash. – Washington State University Tri-Cities students Joseph Traverso and Robert Mendoza credit intellectual as well as physical preparation for their recent top finishes at the Northwest Conference Wrestling Championship, which qualified them for the National Collegiate Wrestling Association championships March 10-12.

PULLMAN, Wash. – Two Washington State University student entrepreneurs won first place and $10,000 in the inaugural, regional Health Innovation Challenge (HIC) at the University of Washington on March 3. They were the only non-UW affiliated entrepreneurs among the 18 finalist teams that pitched ideas to more than 100 judges from business and health science professions.
