Shane Terrell Barrett, 45, a WSU alumnus with a degree in broadcasting/communications and who was employed as a video conferencing technician/networker at WSU from October 2001 to Sept. 2014, died Feb. 7, 2018, after a bravely fought battle with brain cancer.
