Amit Bandyopadhyay, Boeing Distinguished Professor in WSU’s School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, has been named a fellow of the Materials Research Society.
Engineering professors Xianming Shi and Jinwen Zhang have been honored as senior members of the National Academy of Inventors. They will both be formally inducted in June.
Scott Crump, co‑founder of the 3D‑printing company, Stratasys, will speak on “Adventures in Disruption: Inventing the First 3D Printer” on Feb. 2 at WSU Pullman and Feb. 3 at WSU Tri‑Cities.
