EVERETT, Wash. – Technology and media industry leaders will explore the ethical issues unfolding within emerging social virtual reality platforms at a breakfast and panel discussion titled “Ethics in 3D Spaces,” 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, in the Tiered Lecture Hall,  room 102, at WSU Everett, 915 N. Dec. 9: Students to show designs for Coeur d’Alene Tribe site

PLUMMER, Idaho – Landscape architecture designs highlighting the heritage and future of the Coeur d’Alene Indian Tribe will be presented to the public 2-4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at the tribe’s Wellness Center, Conference Room B, by students from Washington State University.

Training, info sessions address changes in pesticide handling

PUYALLUP, Wash. – Pesticide handlers must be trained annually and training records maintained starting in January, according to recent changes in the federal Agricultural Worker Protection Standard (WPS). Many resources are available to employers to meet the requirements, said Catherine H. Daniels, Washington State University Extension pesticide specialist at WSU Puyallup.

Regents approve medical college staffing, budget requests

PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State University Board of Regents today authorized the hiring of administrative staff, faculty, and operating staff for the new Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine in Spokane and approved a capital budget request of $192.7 million and an operating budget request of $67 million for the 2017-2019 biennium.

March 3-24: Free farm talks on both sides of state
