Cougars face Michigan State in Holiday Bowl

Holiday-Bowl-LogoPULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State University football team has accepted an invitation to play in the San Diego County Credit Union Holiday Bowl, with the kickoff at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28.

The Cougars will square off against the Michigan State Spartans from the Big Ten Conference. The Cougars are 2-5 all-time against Michigan State, with the last meeting coming in 1977, a 23-21 WSU win in East Lansing. Michigan State (9-3 overall and 7-2 Big Ten) currently is ranked No. 16 and WSU (9-3 overall and 6-3 Pac12) is ranked No. 18 in the College Football Playoff Rankings.
