Transportation Services to coordinate WSU vanpool program

go-cougs-logoPULLMAN, WA – Washington State University Transportation Services has begun partnering with WSU Motor Pool to coordinate the Pullman vanpool program.

WSU Transportation Services now will oversee coordination of the vanpool program and absorb other administrative duties related to the program.

“We look forward to serving the WSU community by continuing to offer high-quality ridesharing alternatives, and hope to expand the program as we move forward,” said Brent Atkinson, Transportation Services’ Transportation Demand Management coordinator.

WSU Transportation Services will hold a WSU vanpool open house meeting for vanpool members and people interested in the vanpool program, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, in CUE room 518. Refreshments will be provided.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for drivers and riders to become acquainted with WSU Transportation Services personnel, meet prospective vanpool participants, learn about the vanpool program, and provide suggestions, comments and concerns.

For more information, see the vanpool website. https://transportation.wsu.edu/TransportationAlternativesVanpoolsOther.html, or contact Atkinson at 509-335-4482, or brent.atkinson@wsu.edu.
