April 8: WSU author signs book about blind adventurer

PULLMAN, Wash. – The only blind man to reach the summit of Mount Everest completed his latest feat – solo kayaking all 277 miles of the Grand Canyon – in 2014. Copies of his memoir about that adventure, co-written with Washington State University clinical professor of English Buddy Levy, will be signed by Levy 1-4 p.m. Saturday, April 8, at the Bookie as part of Mom’s Weekend.
