March 10: Abstract deadline for environmental papers

PULLMAN, Wash. – Abstract submissions are due March 10 from graduate students in the humanities, social sciences and biophysical sciences at Washington State University and University of Idaho for an interdisciplinary conference April 1 at WSU.

Hosted by the WSU graduate student organization EARThS, the conference is titled “Reflections, Transitions and Solutions: Perspectives on the Past, Present and Future of Environmental Issues.”

Ideal papers will focus on case studies or cross-sectional analyses of (1) creative approaches to examine the past, present or future of environmental issues or (2) interdisciplinary efforts that seek to address or adapt to such problems in local, regional, national and/or international venues.
