Feb. 15: Guest artists, conductors at wind concert

PULLMAN, Wash. – Guest artists and graduate student guest conductors will highlight a free Symphonic Wind Ensemble concert at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, in Bryan Hall at Washington State University.

Martin King, WSU faculty, will perform James Beckel’s “The Glass Bead Game.” Loc Nguyen, from the Ho Chi Minh City Conservatory of Music in Vietnam, will perform George Gershwin’s “Walking the Dog.” Graduate Students Mark Henderson and Jeremy Bennett will be guest conductors for the ensemble, which will feature works by Mennin, Schumann and de Meij.
