Feb. 15 deadline for futuristic military stories

future-army-detailPULLMAN, Wash. – In search of innovative, non-linear ideas about future technologies and trends, the U.S. Army is hosting the Mad Scientist Science Fiction Writing Competition – and writers at Washington State University are invited to enter, according to WSU ROTC instructor Chris Heatherly. The deadline is Feb. 15.

Authors are asked to consider (but not limited to) how trends in science, technology, society, the global economy and other areas could change the world in ways that affect how the Army operates in future conflicts.
