Nov. 3: Community to discuss railroad corridor options

rail-corridorPULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University will host one of four free, public workshops about the options for future use of the railroad corridor between Pullman and Colfax, Wash., at 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, in Smith CUE 518.

State transportation department options include: State maintenance and preservation; railbanking and public trail use; and reversion and/or sale into private ownership.

The other workshops will be:

6:30 p.m. Nov. 2, Pullman City Hall senior lounge

6 p.m. Dec. 7, The Center in Colfax

5:30 p.m. Dec. 8, Albion Community Building.
