Annual awards presented at WSU Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. – Year-end awards announced recently on the Washington State University Spokane campus included:

Chancellor’s awards recognizing students: Tiana Bennett, B.S. speech and hearing; Davin Valenti, B.S. nursing; Holly LIan, B.S. NEP; Rachel Edwards, B.S. nutrition and exercise physiology; Jessie Dean, master of health policy and administration; Emily Johnson, Ph.D. pharmaceutical sciences.

Students’ award for excellence in teaching: Amy Meredith, speech and hearing sciences.

College of Medicine clinical faculty teaching awards in the WWAMI medical education program: Henry Mroch and David Conley.

College of Nursing faculty excellence awards: Janessa Graves, research; Celestina Barbosa-Leiker, diversity; Billie Severtsen, undergraduate faculty; Sandy Carollo, graduate faculty.

College of Pharmacy clinical faculty teaching awards: Connie Remsberg, Kim McKeirnan, Mark Garrison, Megan Willson.

College of Pharmacy awards from doctoral students: faculty member Kathryn Meier and teaching assistants Mahamudul Haque and Shannon Kozlovich.
