Three elected to Faculty Status Committee

PULLMAN, Wash. – Three new members have been elected by the Washington State University faculty at large to the Faculty Status Committee.

The committee hears appeals from faculty members, including those when reappointment, tenure and promotion are denied/deferred. It reports and makes recommendations to the WSU president.

The new members, who will serve three-year terms beginning Aug. 15, are: Rachel J. Halverson, Department of Foreign Languages and Cultures; Shira L. Broschat, School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science; and Courtney L. Meehan, Department of Anthropology.
