April 15: Jazz groups close out year with free concert

vocal-jazzPULLMAN, Wash. – A free concert of instrumental and vocal jazz music will be presented at 8 p.m. Friday, April 15, in Bryan Hall by the Washington State University Jazz Big Band II, VoJazz and VoJazz Combo.

Music will include a funk-shuffle arrangement of Horace Silver’s “Señor Blues,” “Candy” as recorded by Manhattan Transfer, “Pure Imagination” from “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” and Jeremy Fox’s gospel arrangement of the traditional “Amazing Grace.”
