April 10: Flowers, basil, tomatoes, more at plant sale

PULLMAN, Wash. – Get your garden off to a colorful start with tomatoes, peppers, basil and flowers from the annual Horticulture Club Mom’s Weekend plant sale 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, April 10, in the Beasley Coliseum concourse at Washington State University.

3½-inch pots of Cougar Red tomatoes, $1
4-packs of flowers, tomatoes, peppers or basil, $1.75
5½-inch pots of geraniums, $4.50

Tomato samplers, $10
Salsa bowls, $10
12-inch baskets of fuchsias or begonias, $28.50

Deck planters, $26.50 to $36.50
16-inch pulp hanging baskets, $44.50
18-inch pulp hanging baskets, $49.50
