rotc-run-walk

PULLMAN, Wash. – A free 5K walk/run on Saturday, April 23, at Washington State University will raise awareness of sexual assault.

Hosted by WSU Army ROTC, the event marks April as national Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month and also supports the U.S. Army Sexual Harassment and Assault Prevention Program (SHARP). It also celebrates the 100th anniversary of ROTC, the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps college-based military officer training program.

No registration is required. The walk/run will begin at 8 a.m. at the WSU tennis courts parking lot across the street from the Student Rec Center. Light refreshments will be provided.

For more information, contact ROTC cadets Matthew Yusen, matthew.yusen@wsu.edu, or Dillon Look, dillon.look@wsu.edu.
