Grand Challenge for Sustainable Resources for Society

PACCAR-poster-talk

PULLMAN, Wash. – Jennifer Adam, associate professor in civil and environmental engineering, speaks with Washington State University’s Jan Boll, left, and University of Idaho researcher Erin Brooks during a poster session last week on climate, land use and the sustainable management of agricultural and natural resources.

Sponsored by the Center for Environmental Research, Education, and Outreach (CEREO), the PACCAR building event was in keeping with WSU’s Grand Challenge for Sustainable Resources for Society: Food, Energy, and Water.

The event was coordinated by individuals from CEREO’s Biosphere-relevant Earth system modeling team (BioEarth) with support from the State of Washington Water Research Center and the WSU Center for Sustaining Agriculture and Natural Resources.
