Food-energy-water seed grants awarded to 14 faculty

PULLMAN, Wash. – Fourteen faculty in three projects have been awarded seed and planning grants for their promising food, energy and water research from Washington State University and the state.

Research addressing links among food, energy and water (FEW) issues is expected to be a top priority for funding agencies in the coming years. The WSU Center for Environmental Research Education and Outreach, the State of Washington Water Research Center and the WSU Center for Sustaining Agriculture & Natural Resources awarded the grants to identify and energize high-priority, interdisciplinary FEW research initiatives at WSU.
