Today: Help Colfax community reimagine historic hospital

St.-Ignatius-hospital-webCOLFAX, Wash. – Ideas for use of the historic, former St. Ignatius Hospital building in Colfax will be sought and discussed at a workshop 3-6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at The Center, 110 S. Main, Colfax, next to the Whitman County Library.

The Washington State University School of Design and Construction is helping the city with the project through its Rural Communities Design Initiative partnership. WSU students have conducted similar efforts in the Washington communities of Soap Lake, Lacrosse, Ritzville and more.

Community members can learn more at information stations at Fonks coffee house, Whitman County Library main branch, The Courtyard assisted living and Whitman Hospital and Medical Center.
