Oct. 22: Q&A about state’s legalization of marijuana

Rick-Garza-80PULLMAN, Wash. – Issues around the initiative that allows recreational use of marijuana in Washington will be discussed by the director of the state liquor control board at noon Thursday, Oct. 22, in Bryan Hall 308. Pizza and pop will be provided.

Rick Garza will present “Marijuana Legalization: Implementing Initiative 502 in Washington,” as part of the free coffee and politics series hosted by the Foley Institute at Washington State University.

Garza has served on the board since 1997 and previously was a staff member for the Washington Legislature for 13 years.
