Army Veterinary Corps chief receives top alumni award

PULLMAN, Wash. – Brig. Gen. John L. Poppe, chief of the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps, received the 2015 Regents’ Distinguished Alumnus Award, Washington State University’s highest alumni honor, on Friday, Oct. 16.

A reception and award presentation were followed by a lecture by Poppe, “From the Dairy Farm to the Pentagon.”
