From the provost: Report on strategic plan progress

from-the-provost-logoPULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University is in the top half of peer institutions for research and development expenditures, but at the bottom for freshman student retention. That is one of the findings of the group assigned to track progress on the 2014-19 strategic plan.

The Institutional Effectiveness Council recently presented its first progress report after working for a year to develop an initial inventory of strategic plan efforts across the university. The report includes a list of WSU’s peer-comparison universities, assessment of progress and recommendations going forward.
