Memorial today: Many join WSU in honoring Floyd

Floyd-E 2009 80SPOKANE, Wash. – This afternoon, the late Washington State University President Elson S. Floyd will be remembered during a ceremony at Beasley Coliseum in Pullman.

But WSU isn’t the only university to honor Floyd. Schools in Michigan and Missouri, where he served as president before coming to WSU, have held a ceremony and plan to name a facility after him, as well.
