Aug. 21: WSU welcomes students at convocation, picnic

convocation-photoPULLMAN, Wash. – The annual convocation and all-campus picnic to welcome students to the Washington State University community will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 21, in Beasley Coliseum.

 

Convocation includes a procession in which faculty and staff enter together as a show of support for the students. RSVP for the procession at http://convocation.wsu.edu/for-faculty/.

The picnic, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on NE Fairway Road outside Beasley Coliseum, will feature food, music and a community vendor and services fair. Participants are reminded to bring their Cougar ID cards to get picnic food.
