Through April 25: Music faculty present pre-opera talks

Met-operaPULLMAN, Wash. – Three music faculty from Washington State University will give pre-opera talks for “The Met: Live in HD” series, which begins with Verdi’s “Macbeth” at 9:10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Centre in downtown Moscow, Idaho.

Tickets for each live transmission from New York’s Metropolitan Opera cost $20 general admission and $15 for students.

Julie Ann Wieck, WSU School of Music, will speak this week. WSU’s Sheila Converse and Brian Carter also will make presentations this fall.
