The facility will house programs providing STEM-focused (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) bachelor’s degrees and will include classrooms, laboratories, offices and student services. Programs will include engineering and architecture, communications, arts and sciences and hospitality business management.
The project manager for WSU capital planning is Louise Sweeney.
The design-build teams under consideration include: Hoffman Construction/SRG Architects; Lease Crutcher Lewis Construction/THA Architecture; and Mortenson/NBBJ Architects.
The teams will participate in a six-week competition to develop a design concept based on predesign programming and building performance requirements.
