Don’t respond to fake WSECU text messages

WSECU-logo-200PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State Employees Credit Union (WSECU) members, many of whom are affiliated with Washington State University, have been targeted recently with fraudulent text messages.

Messages state the consumer’s debit or credit card has been deactivated and prompt a local phone call to reactivate the card.

It is important that recipients do not reply to the messages or phone the number.
