PULLMAN, Wash. – Chris Dickey, clinical assistant professor of tuba and euphonium, recently was a featured artist at the 2014 Isla Verde Bronces International Brass Festival in Cordoba, Argentina.
Faculty participants were selected from among the finest brass pedagogues in the world. Dickey presented master classes and recitals and conducted brass ensembles.
He also has been invited to perform at the 2014 International Tuba-Euphonium Conference in Bloomington, Ind., in May.
Artist-teachers and students from around the world will meet for a week of recitals, master classes and premieres of new music. Dickey’s recital will feature music that will be released on a professional recording under the Albany Records label.
