PULLMAN, Wash. – The Residence Inn Pullman hotel, slated to open in April at Washington State University, recently hired a general manager, Sara Raquet, and director of sales, Andrew Berg.
Raquet began in the hotel industry in 1991 and has worked on both the property and corporate levels with such brands as Hilton, Intercontinental Hotel Group, Starwood and Marriott Hotels.
Berg has more than 20 years of experience in operations, sales, management, finance, marketing and promotions, including positions at both the regional and national levels with the Marriott brand.
Stonebridge Companies and WSU have partnered to construct the 131-room extended-stay Residence Inn by Marriott Generation 9 (newest room design) hotel adjacent to the recreation center on North Fairway Drive.
