Take survey to help choose LMS replacement for Angel

lms-graphic-80PULLMAN, Wash. – Faculty and staff input in selecting a learning management system to replace Angel is being sought via a short survey to be completed before the end of January.

LMS committee members seek an inclusive decision and don’t want colleagues to think their input was disregarded, said member Gregory Crouch. The committee hopes to choose the new LMS before the end of spring semester.

The survey, which should take a few minutes to complete, focuses on employee needs in terms of student information system integration and WSU-specific LMS features. The survey can be found at https://skylight.wsu.edu/surveys/default.aspx.

A September survey indicated an overwhelming desire to replace Angel with a more modern LMS. Find background and details at http://lmsevaluation.wsu.edu/.

The committee plans to schedule vendor campus demonstrations before spring break that will be open to faculty, staff and students.
