PULLMAN, Wash. – Adventure, action and environmental films will be shown from the Banff Mountain Film Festival at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, in the CUB auditorium.
Also, winners from the University Recreation outdoor photography contest will be announced and the final vote will be taken for the People’s Choice winner.
Tickets are first come, first served and will be for sale at about 6:30 p.m. Admission is free for Washington State University students and Student Recreation Center members and $10 (cash or check) for others.
With stops planned in about 400 communities and 40 countries across the globe, the festival’s traveling show features exotic landscapes, remote cultures and up-close interaction with adrenaline-packed sports.
From approximately 350 films entered in the annual festival, award-winners and audience favorites are among those chosen to travel the globe and brought to WSU by UREC.
